English For Success Program Building the English Skills You Need
Our new multi-level English for Success Program is designed to develop and solidify the language skills you need socially, in the workplace, for study in the future, and in everyday situations common to life in New York City.
Morning Program Students who would like to study in the morning, may take a 9-Academic hour communication skills class:
In the part-time Communication Skills program, students at the Intermediate through Advanced levels focus on listening, conversation and reading with some non-academic writing and grammar. There is also an emphasis on vocabulary development. The classes include fieldtrips to interesting places in NYC. These classes meet 3 mornings per week for a total of 9 Academic hours.
- 3 mornings a week from 8:10 to 11:00 (times may vary) - 9 hours/week for 8 weeks - Students focus on communication skills, reading, grammar, vocabulary development and pronunciation -Classes are open to levels 3-8 (Intermediate to Advanced).
Saturday Program Our Saturday program is designed for students who would like to improve their English in all areas, but who do not have enough time to study during the week. The may choose to take either one or two classes.
Saturday classes meet in the Morning and Afternoon. Morning classes meet for 4 academic hours a week for 8 weeks. Afternoon classes meet for 3 academic hours a week for 8 weeks. There are 5 different levels. Each level takes 16 weeks to complete.
There are 2 types of courses:
1. Integrated Skills classes from 9:00 to 12:30 pm
